Do you have two websites

Yes we have 2 website for more visibility.

Do you come to our house or hotel?

Yes we come to your house or hotel anywhere on the Gold Coast, from 8am to 8pm

Can you fix my sore neck or Back?

The answer is not that simple. You may have a torn muscle in which mostly rest will heel you.

But if you are just tight and sore from over working, or playing sport, we can definatley help you out.

Stress can also be a great cause if tension in the body.

You know when you watch a scary movie and you are all tight waiting for the next scary scene to come on?

Well that is the same as when you are working to a deadline, you feel the tension from stress and people wanting your time as well.

Can you get rid of my head ache?

The answer is most probably you have some tension from your giving you a stiff neck, stopping the blood flow and chi being able to run freely through you head and neck. By giving you neck and head massage to losen you up, we can help that blood flow and oxygen to make it to places where it is mostly needed in the body. Most of the time we can alleviate your head ache.

Does refexology really work?

Well many people have many theories about reflexology. From my opinion, yes we do have thousands of nerve endings in our feet that connect with the rest of the body and stimulation can be done by working the feet. But if some is working on your feet and you have a pain in specific spot and the therapist says, "oh you have a problem with your lungs. I think that that is not realistic and should not be treated as a truth.

Is it ok that my back clicks during a massage?

Yes your back holds tension in the muscle around your spine and when a vertebrate is out the muscle tends to tighten up around the area. When you have the area massaged the muscle around the effected area will loosen up and thus the vertebrate may click back into place. This usually is not dangerous or harmful to you.

How much do you charge?

We charge $95 per hour/ per therapist.

What is a bursa?

Every person has hundreds of bursa scattered throughout the body. The function of a bursa is to decrease friction between two surfaces that move in different directions.

Imagine a bursa as being a small balloon containing a little oil with the air removed. The action of rubbing this small balloon between your hands would be smooth and effortless, this would replicate what a bursa does between tendon and bone.

You tend to find a bursa at points where muscles and tendons glide over bones. Without the bursa between these surfaces, movements would be painful, and most certainly become easily inflamed.

What is bursitis?
Bursitis is the inflammation of a bursa. Normally, the bursa provides a slippery surface that has almost no friction. A problem arises when a bursa becomes inflamed. The bursa loses its gliding capabilities, and becomes more and more irritated when it is moved.

When the condition called bursitis occurs, the normally slippery bursa becomes swollen and inflamed. The added bulk of the swollen bursa causes more friction within an already confined space. Also, the smooth gliding bursa becomes gritty and rough. Movement of an inflamed bursa is painful and irritating.

What causes bursitis?

Bursitis usually results from a repetitive movement or due to prolonged and excessive pressure. Patients who rest on their elbows for long periods or those who bend their elbows frequently and repetitively (using a keyboard and/or mouse) may develop elbow bursitis. Similarly in other parts of the body, repetitive use or frequent pressure can irritate a bursa and cause inflammation.

Another cause of bursitis is a traumatic injury. Following trauma, such as a car accident or fall, a patient may develop bursitis. Usually a contusion causes swelling within the bursa. The bursa, which had functioned normally up until that point, now begins to develop inflammation, and bursitis results. Once the bursa is inflamed, normal movements and activities can become painful.

Treatment Options

Massaging the area where the tension comes into the body that corresponds to the affected area will bring relief. However resting and/or elevating the joint between massage sessions may hasten the healing process. Applications of heat or cold may help relieve pain and swelling in severe cases.
